Here at the LocHerRoom Studio we are one of Georgia's niche beauty industries that proudly performs natural hair care, only specializing in Sisterlocks® and Microlocs for women and teenage girls. Our aim is to promote healthy and beautiful artisan locks by our team of loc professionals. We are a team and we work as a team 

for our wonderful client's needs.

We enjoy the serenity in establishing microlocs and the branded small locs, Sisterlocks® on our clients .  We extend trust, beauty, energy and faithfulness to all our clients as we bond in their journeys of hair freedom.

Sisterlocks® are microlocs but microlocs are not necessarily Sisterlocks®. 

Sisterlocks® was founded in 1993 by Dr. Joanne Cornell, former professor emerita of Africana Studies and French at San Diego State University ;

and pioneer of the natural hair care industry.

Sisterlocks® is a registered trademark hair lock management system that allows women, men, and children with tightly textured hair to take advantage of a wide variety of today's hairstyles without altering the natural texture of their hair.

​

Sisterlocks®  creates a stable, woven framework in a lock hair within which the natural locking process can take place. Its craftsmanship consist of a interlocking method in which strands are interlocked with hair follicles in a rotation sequence that the hair is knitted within the lock rotation around it.

Here at LocHerRoom Studio, we are partners in the community of Sisterlocks® practitioners in over 40 states and in several countries, as independent natural hair care consultants carrying Dr. Cornwell message of self-empowerment and cultural celebration.

Also we are a vivid lover of Microlocs and we offer this services for those who do not desire smaller loc(k)s such as the branded Sisterlocks® , but yet as beautiful and versatile medium-to-large locs. 

All locs are established using the interlocking method and for some clients the two-strand twist and braid method.
