Recently, we updated our pricing structure to meet supply and demand for a growing community of women of color desiring to transition to the journey of locs. All quotations are composed of comprehensive components: density, length, texture and head size.

"So Into Me" Microloc(k)s Special

• BASE RATE BEGINS at $850.00 up to 4 inches 

  • Additional factors such as additional length by the inch, density, texture and headsize applies and is added tto the above starting base rate to your complete custom quote.

Microloc(k)s Package consist:

• #1 Consultation - we will discuss your hair needs, assess hair for locking, and you are welcome to ask any questions.

  • If it is decided that  Microloc(k)s are right for you, sample locks (approximately 3-4) will established behind your right ear and a personalized quote will be provided. Quote is valid for 30 days.

  • During this time, you are welcome to secure your Establishment date with a non-refundable booking fee of $150.00

  • Deposit will be credited to your Establishment balance

• #2 Establishment Day anticipate two 12 hours day typically scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am -7pm. Balance is due prior to any work being done.  Also, prior to leaving on your Establishment Day, your 1st retightening appointment between 6-8 weeks based on availability will be scheduled.

• #3 Follow - up session scheduled approximately 3-4 weeks post locs establishment virtually at no cost. ​

 

Ongoing Retightenings- Current Rate is a VALUED-Based pricing system:

•  $120 - Price increases to $135 starting April 01, 2025

• Transfer clients at $145 (4 hours minimum are scheduled). Price increases to $165 starting April 01, 2025 for 1st retightening. Nominal rate of $135 thereafter.

• For transfer clients and any clients that does not adhere to loc care instructions such as loc separation and improper braiding and banding affects,  whereas retightenings go beyond the 4 hours scheduled, additionally hour rate at $30 per hour is billed and incurs. Per hour rate of $30 applies between the minutes before the next hour. 

• Retightenings typically takes approximately 2.5-4 hours, give or take - varies client to client based on loc are and loc development. 4 hours booking slot per appointment for allotted time.

Service Hours:

• M-F typically from 6 pm - 10pm (Retightening Services) or based on your assigned loctician hours of operation

• Sat-Sun from hours 7 am - 7 pm (Locs Establishments & Some Commuting Clients Traveling >50miles)

Please do your research before considering Micro Interlocks with the LocHerRoom. Our particular structure may differ from others for various reasons. Microloc(k)s can be EXPENSIVE (honestly and straightforward). Care includes not only your initial establishment of locs but mandatory ongoing retightenings of your locks typical every 6-8 weeks depending on hair density, length, curl pattern, head size, locs conditions and home care of your locs. Micro Interlocks is life-changing! Subsequently, it requires maintaining for life. So please, i beg you to shop around if need be. Micro Interlocks isn't for everyone and neither are we, the locticians are not for everyone (although, we will try to be- LOL).  It is worth every penny and restrictive maintenance for the health of your locks. You will be singing the same freedom song of so many others in our community, "This is the best decision ever ! "
